Dr. Yeung’s journey to the chiropractic profession began with his volunteer experience in a chiropractic clinic where he saw the remarkable drug free health benefits of chiropractic care for the elderly, children, and the general population. Dr. Yeung was inspired with the holistic and patient centred approach in chiropractic care and he believes that with an inclusion of an active component to treatment (ex. exercise and/or dietary modifications, etc.) to passive care (manual therapies, modalities, etc.), patients can develop and enjoy healthier lifestyles. After completing his studies at the University of Waterloo (UW) with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biochemistry, Dr. Yeung was accepted to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where he had clinical experience at the St. Michael’s Hospital Family Health Team working alongside medical doctors, nurses, dietitians and other allied health professionals. Dr. Yeung utilizes a combination of chiropractic diversified technique in joint manipulation and mobilizations, as well as soft tissue techniques included myofascial release therapy and ischemic compression/ trigger point therapy.
